Last Friday night at Frankie and Johnnie's was fabulous! I was tired and didn't want to go, but got an invite on Facebook to the April Raymore Peculiar Reunion night.
I saw people I hadn't seen since childhood. Big brothers of old friends when I was twelve. Girlfriends that meant the world to me at 12, 14, 16! It was awesome. Everyone looked great and it made me think about my journey. How could I lose some of these people? What can we do to help one another today? I love you guys and miss you. I apologize for not being there, but please understand.
What I want to share is that life is a journey. Everyone has ups and downs and bad and good in their life. But nothing can replace the feeling of seeing someone that meant a lot to you in your life at some point.
And all I can say is - I will take time to think of you all and smile, and can't wait to see you again!
