Memorial Day and true meanings of any holiday are always underrated. Today's world has commercialized every holiday we have.
Advertising, marketing and sales events by every business known to man trying to get a piece of the American profit pie.
I feel that we all need to get back to the meaning and root of the reasons things happen and why. What is this holiday actually? More than a paid holiday.
What happens today and tomorrow affects our future. History and events of yesterday and the past should be honored and remembered. That is what we owe those who stood up for the rights and cause of our country. We are sitting here today making plans for family barbeques, planning lake vacations, etc....Enjoying the three day weekend.
But what about those who are remembering those in their family that died for the country? The pain and sorrow they must feel to have lost their loved ones?
